4,6 or 8 Wire Bi Polar Stepper Motor Driver

The A3967 is a complete microstepping motor driver with a built-in translator. It is a simple to use and controllable stepper motor driver. This version is more flexible than the older versions. They also have a current regulator that has the ability to operate in slow, fast, or mixed current-decay modes, which helps in increasing accuracy and reduced power dissipation.

It is compatible with 4, 6, and 8 wire stepper motors of any voltage and  Can be used with most microcontrollers that can output a digital 0 to 5V pulse.
The microstep select (MS1 and MS2) pins of the A3967 are broken out allowing adjustments to the microstepping resolution. 
Easy to interface with Arduino, Male header pins are supplied to use with a breadboard, Male header pins are supplied to use with breadboard There are no phase-sequence tables, high-frequency control lines, or complex interfaces to program. The A3967 interface is an ideal fit for complex applications.

Note: Do not join or detach the motor when the driver is energized. This will cause harm to the IC.
