Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

1. Merchandise Returns (General) We accept returns for most merchandise subject to the terms outlined below. We will replace the product or refund your money at your option, excluding shipping/handling costs and payment convenience fees.

  • RMA Required: Please contact Customer Service to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any product. Returns without an RMA may be rejected.

  • Timeframe: All returns must be initiated within 10 days of the invoice date.

  • Condition: Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. A brief explanation of the reason for the return must accompany the invoice.

  • Shipping Costs: Return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer. We do not accept "To-Pay" or "Cash on Delivery" return shipments. Please pack merchandise in a proper shipping box to avoid transit damage.

  • Restocking Fee: General parts returned are subject to a 25% restocking charge. Items marked as "Non-Cancellable / Non-Returnable" (NCNR) at the time of sale are not eligible for return.

  • Processing: Our support team will verify the return upon receipt and contact you within 4 working days. Refunds are processed within 7 days of verification.


2. Cancellations & Modifications

  • Pre-Shipment Cancellations: You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. In this case, we will refund the entire amount less a 5% payment convenience fee (applicable for Credit/Debit card and Net Banking transactions).

  • Post-Production Cancellation (Special Clause for Made-to-Order Items): For items manufactured against specific order quantities (specifically the KITE Arduino UNO Kit), if a voluntary cancellation is requested after production/assembly is complete or after the order is ready for dispatch:

    • A Manufacturing Cost Recovery Fee of ₹200 per unit will be deducted from the refund amount.

    • This deduction covers the non-recoverable production and material costs incurred for your specific order.

  • Modifications: Any additions or quantity changes must be modified in the order details before shipment. Once shipped, all sales are final.


3. Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items (Easy Replacement) Tomson Electronics offers a replacement guarantee for products that are defective, wrongly delivered, or damaged during transit.

  • Reporting Timeline:

    • Transit Damage: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Complaints raised after 48 hours for physical damage may not be accepted.

    • Defects/Wrong Product: Must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.

    • Note: If you encounter issues with specific sensitive components, please contact support within 24 hours.

  • Verification: You must share clear images of the product, including internal and external packaging.

  • Resolution: Once verified, the defective/damaged product will be replaced with a brand-new product at no extra cost. If the product is Out of Stock or Discontinued, we reserve the right to offer an alternate product or a refund.

  • Exclusions: Damages due to normal wear & tear, customer negligence, or digital content (e-books) are not returnable.


4. Cancellation by Tomson Electronics We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to:

  • Pricing errors or technical issues.

  • Non-availability of stock.

  • Issues identified by our Fraud Detection Department.

  • Credit rejection or payment mode issues.

If we cancel your order, 100% of the payment will be refunded, and you will be notified immediately.


5. Jurisdiction Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala state.
